Our story started with FIVE RUM-LOVING BROTHERS.

They made one eye-opening journey, from sunny Spain to glorious Guatemala. And in 1940, they founded Botran. A rum with a distinctive attitude.

One as vivid as our sugar cane juice and as colorful as our land. It helped us become the first sustainable rum in the world. And it continues to push us as we fill every glass with the bright and vibrant spirit of Guatemalan rum.

RON BOTRAN COBRE

45% Alc./Vol.

The spices that fill Botran Cobre are inspired by Ponche, Guatemala’s traditional celebratory drink. It’s an artisanal infusion of ginger, cardamom, cinnamon and cloves, best enjoyed neat for a sense-awakening spicy sipping experience.

Aging method: Aged in American whiskey casks (neutral and medium toasted) and Port casks.

RON BOTRAN NO. 8

Aged in sherry casks, Botran No. 8 looks to Spanish traditions of rum making and turns them on their head, in a way only Guatemalans know how.

The Botran Roaju is the result of a delicate alchemy: aged in ex-Bourbon barrels, re-burnt Bourbon, Sherry and Port, it is then matured in ex-Burgos Spanish wine barrels. Its bouquet is an explosion of flavours: caramel, cocoa, citrus, red berries, roasted coffee and dried fruit. The finish, refreshing with citrus, invites you to an unforgettable taste experience. With a finish in soft wine barrels, including barrels containing Moscatel, Botran Ki’ has remarkable softness and roundness, while maintaining an authentic aromatic profile and without added sugar.

Botran Miracielo Reserva Especial Spiced is a Guatemalan rum crafted at Industrias Licoreras de Guatemala, made from molasses and distilled in column stills. This rum has a 38% ABV and features prominent spiced, sweet, and fruity notes with hints of vanilla and molasses. Tasting reveals a balanced profile of spice, sweetness, and underlying fruitiness, with subtle woody and pecan flavors. Users note its approachable and smooth nature but feel it lacks complexity and pronounced spiciness typical of spiced rums.

RON MIRACIELO CAFETALERO

Miracielo Cafetalero is a distillate of molasses aged in Ex-American Whiskey casks, Ex-American Whiskey casks with medium toast, where the rum is macerated with vanilla, plums and raisins. Its final finish is achieved with an infusion of the bourbon variety of coffee from Finca San Sebastian in Antigua Guatemala.

RON ALTABRUMA

Altabruma Botran rum draws its uniqueness from the volcanic terroir of Altabruma, a Guatemalan region blessed by 37 volcanoes and an ideal climate for the cultivation of sugar cane. This rum, emblematic of Guatemalan craftsmanship, is made from first-press juice, meticulously heated to concentrate its sweet and herbaceous flavors. Distilled in traditional copper stills, then aged at an altitude of 2300 meters in a variety of recycled barrels, Botran Altabruma represents the excellence of Guatemalan distillation, while highlighting its commitment to sustainability.
