A LEGENDARY FIGURE in Panamá history, Pedro Mandinga was a captain of the Cimmarron people, whose name meant “the flight of an arrow.” The Cimarrones were early settlers of African descent who escaped slavery in the 16th century and built hidden communities along the Caribbean coast.

Pedro Mandinga Geisha Coffee Liqueur

Using our Pedro Mandinga Raspadura Rum as the based spirit, we have created a Geisha Coffee Liquor in collaboration with a small Coffee Farm named Finca Dos Jefes from Boquete located in the Chiriquí Providence near the Caribbean coast of Panama.
The process starts with an infusion between the Raspadura Rum and the ground Geisha Coffee, during this process all the flavors and color from the coffee passes to the liquid. After the infusion is completed, we add raspadura syrup made in our distillery to balance and complement the coffee flavors.

Tasting notes: Hints of roasted, floral, dark fruits and caramel aromas are present in the Liqueur, with a balance coffee and sweet flavor.

Pedro Mandinga Cacao Liqueur

Using our Pedro Mandinga Raspadura Rum as the based spirit, we have created a Cocoa Liquor in collaboration with I Love Panama Chocolate. The Cocoa comes from Bocas del Toro island on the Caribbean coast of Panama.
The process starts with an infusion between the Raspadura Rum and the cocoa nibs to extract allnthe flavors and color from the cocoa. After the infusion is completed, we add raspadura
syrup made in our distillery to balance and complement the cocoa beans flavors.

Tasting notes: Roasted, light citrus and dark chocolate aromas are present in the Liquor; with a balance sweet flavor.

Pedro Mandinga Blended Rum

40% Alc./Vol.

Pedro Mandinga Rum Blend is a unique rum built on the foundation of Raspadura Rum, distilled in copper stills and blended with Panamanian rums. These rums are made from molasses and aged for at least 8 years in American oak barrels previously used for bourbon. The result is a smooth, sugar-free rum dominated by aromas of dried fruits, coconut, chocolate, and toasted oak, complemented by delicate notes of caramel, vanilla, and nuts.

Pedro Mandinga Raspadura Rum

Pedro Mandinga rums are distilled in a small copper pot still. We have carefully crafted each of our recipes to create small batches of Silver and Spiced styles. While there are other good Panamanian rums, Pedro Mandinga is the country’s first artisanal rum made from raspadura.
